The petitioner in this case is a fourth year law student at Government Law College, Theni. He was suspended by impugned order, which also proposes to initiate disciplinary action against him.
The petitioner wanted to put a picture of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in the office room of the principal. He also wanted the curriculum to be taught in Tamil.
But the petitioner had misbehaved with the college administration. It is alleged that he used abusive language on the principal. While classes were going on, he had entered the classrooms. Their mobilization efforts were seen as acts of indiscipline and misconduct.
